With a perfect sliding action with no road track, the gates 'float' across the entrance area.

Cantilever sliding gates remove the need for the slide track in the road, with the gate suspended at one end with horizontal posts, so the gate 'floats' across the entrance.

Cantilever gates are quieter than tracked gates and reduce the need to keep the tracking clear of debris.

Due to the nature of the cantilever design, extra room is required for the additional 'cantilever' section of the gate, usually behind a wall or hedge perimeter.
