    Automation field engineer

    We are looking for an experienced, hands-on member of the team to facilitate and undertake field work on customer sites across England. As a seasoned gate, barrier and bollard field engineer, this role will push your experience into our range of solar-powered automation on construction and infrastructure sites across the Midlands and North.

    • Undertake routine servicing of gates, barriers and bollards on customer sites.
    • Diagnosis and onsite repair following breakdown reports.
    • Perform installation and training of new equipment to customer sites.
    • Deliveries and collections of hire plant, liasing with head office to facilitate plant movements.
    • Working with office admin team, provide first line customer support through.
    • Undertake customer technical support calls for all INSTABOOM™ and SOSEC products, for the purpose of training, assistance and diagnosis.
    • Be the customer facing champion.
    • Self-starter who's used to managing your own workload and travel.

    • Assist in the production of a range of gates, barriers and access control systems to a high standard.
    • Undertake a range of production processes including CNC folding, mechanical and electrical assembly.
    • Carry out on hire and off hire equipment quality checks and record results.
    • Work with a range on industrial equipment and observe high standards of safety and quality.
    • Follow the direction of team leader to ensure correct production processes are followed.
    • Work to strict deadlines to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, every time.
    • Assist with delivery, installation and on-site training of solar barrier units.
