TOPAS Approved, cloud connected pedestrian signals with real-time control
The Berlex R6+ pedestrian signal system is made up of two parts: the pedestrian crossing unit on site, and the BerlexConnect cloud platform behind it.
The pedestrian unit is the hardware you see on site. It includes the push-button unit, display pole and base. It controls pedestrian crossing operation locally and is designed for reliable use on temporary sites. BerlexConnect is built into the unit and adds to the remote functionality, connecting it to the mobile network so it can be monitored and controlled from anywhere.
Through BerlexConnect you have real-time visibility of signal status, battery levels, system health and location. If there's a fault, vandalism or theft, you're notified instantly and can respond without travelling to site.
Each unit uses dual-SIM connectivity, switching networks automatically if one drops, so the system stays connected without interruption. Mobile coverage is the only requirement, there are no distance limits.
Single or multi-phase operations can be configured from a phone, tablet or laptop, with multiple units managed through the same platform. Multi-phase layouts and high-footfall areas are all supported.
Add single or multiple users to receive real-time low battery alerts, so your team is acting on live information rather than guesswork. Solar charging is also available to extend the time between battery charges.
