Palletised messaging, nothing to tow
VMS-P is a palletised colour variable message sign, built for inner city and urban works and roads with speed zones up to 50mph. It carries the same full colour LED matrix, graphics and pictogram display as a standard VMS, but it sits on a standard fork lift pallet instead of a trailer.
A trailer needs a licensed tow vehicle, somewhere to park it, and its own upkeep: tyres, brake, lights, an MOT. VMS-P removes all of that. Instead, it's placed on site by forklift or hiab, so delivery fits around your plant you're likely already using rather than needing a separate tow vehicle and trailer storage. It's designed for deployment with a SOSEC pallet trailer, so one trailer can move and place several signs across a site or route.
Security improves too. With no wheels and no hitch, VMS-P can't be hooked up and driven off in the way a trailer can. GPS tracking and padlock covers add a further layer, and messages can be set and changed by SMS, internet, satellite or the App, on Windows, Android or iOS, without needing to visit site.
