There’s a few ways we get our kicks here at Solar Gates.
Football isn’t usually one of them.
Raising money for charity, however, definitely IS.
So when we got the opportunity to sponsor the kits for junior football team through our association with HMP Standford Hill, we jumped at the chance (and gave it a swift header into the back of the net).
The first charity match will raise money for Kings Reach Education, who give children who’ve fallen through the net of the main school system a chance at a proper education. A new start and the support they need to thrive - and they do a sterling job of it, too.
We can’t wait to see the players bring their A-game in aid of such a deserving cause. Good luck to all of the ballers taking part - we hope you have a ball!
