Hatton TM gets down to Beezness at Solar Gates

June 2025

Our friends from Hatton Traffic Management dropped by the Solar Gates HQ this week to take on the ultimate challenge: managing traffic inside our BEEHIVES.

The crack team, pictured behind one of our SOSEC 600 barriers with pals from Solar Gates, are more used to expertly resolving temporary traffic headaches for events and construction sites (among many other things).

But they were more than equal to the sticky task of donning gloves, suits and veils to check the unpredictable movement of winged transport during a buzzier-than-usual time of the year, i.e., when the honey’s getting made.

Joking aside, the visitors had been invited for a very useful Lunch & Learn, where they got clued up about the work we do, our equipment, philosophy and ever-inquisitive attitude to innovation. In short, our products evolve because we listen to experts in the field, as it were, such as Hatton.

Our guests finished the day more knowledgeable about the SOSEC and INSTABOOM products, how they are helping cut accidents (and costs) and left with CPD certificates.

David Swallow, General Manager, Civils & Bid Manager (South) of Hatton TM, told us afterwards: “Thank you for inviting us along. It was very much appreciated and great to meet the team and get a better understanding of your products.”

You’re more than welcome David, it was our pleasure to learn about the work Hatton does in keeping clients, staff and road users safe.

The bees are somehow a little more organised in their comings and goings too!
