Green Gate launches the SOSEC Instaboom at the NEC

Our newest SOSEC product will be launched in Birmingham next month at the Holiday Park & Resort Innovation Show. Visit show.

SOSEC Instaboom will be on display along with our SOSEC barrier and lighting rigs – a growing family of unique solar-powered and mobile products.

Instaboom is a fully portable solar-powered barrier, on the same chassis size as the standard roadworks traffic lights, so it can be deployed easily, by the same companies, on the same, specially-modified vehicles.

The barrier can be deployed in under a minute by one person with no need for forklift or lifting gear.

The hybrid solar design allows the unit to use the sun's energy to fill the power stores to keep it operating up to 100 times per day, all year. For clients running night works and storing them indoors during the day, there is a power charge socket allowing the battery to be recharged. Unlike the normal temporary highways lights that need charging every week, SOSEC Instaboom only needs a charge once a month on a site using the barrier up to 500 times a night.

The Hi-Viz, LED lit, 4m boom is fully sectional, allowing it to be stored in sections inside the barrier housing for easy transport.

Once it’s been unveiled at the show over November 7-8, it’ll be straight out to work in Bromley for overnight road closure and repair works.

If you’re at the Holiday Park & Resort Innovation Show, come to see us on stand 10-734 - we’ll also have our beehive and a free pot of honey for you.
