October saw Solar Gates take its innovation on tour — on two continents. While the UK team showcased the latest in solar-powered safety at Highways UK, Managing Director Neil Sampson headed down under for Highways Australia to launch INSTABOOM and INSTABOOM Go into a brand-new market.
At the NEC in Birmingham, the Solar Gates stand was buzzing with activity. Visitors were drawn to live demonstrations of INSTABOOM and INSTABOOM Go, both designed to make temporary traffic management safer, faster and greener. This year, we also introduced a new range of Horizont traffic safety products, adding portable signage, lighting and road safety essentials to our line-up. The range complements our existing solar technology perfectly — giving customers more choice and flexibility when planning safer worksites.
“It’s great to see how far the industry has come,” said Commercial Director Anna Blake. “Highways UK is always a highlight for us — a chance to meet old friends, make new ones, and show how solar technology keeps evolving to meet the challenges on site.”
Meanwhile, 10,000 miles away, Neil Sampson joined the Bartco Australia team at Highways Australia in Sydney, introducing the INSTABOOM barrier to a whole new audience. “The Australian highways sector faces the same safety and efficiency challenges we’ve solved here in the UK,” Neil said. “Seeing the reaction to INSTABOOM down here has been fantastic — it’s clear there’s real appetite for smarter, solar-powered innovation.”
Two continents, one message: smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions for the highways of today — and tomorrow.
